California Junior Cowboys Association - Building a solid foundation for the future of professional rodeo.

Membership Fees: Membership is for one calendar year, and must be renewed each year. Annual membership fees are $100 per contestant, and must be paid in full prior to entering the first rodeo of the season. 
 

Required Documents: When completing the Membership application, you'll be required to submit a copy of your child's birth certificate for age verification.  A Release of Liability will also need to be completed.  
 

Age Limits: Members cannot be older than 19 by January 1, 2024 for the 2024 season. The contestant's age on January 1 will determine their age group.  A contestant can move up to an older age group in all events, but cannot change during the rodeo season, and cannot move down to a younger age group.  
 

CJCA Finals Rodeo: Only CJCA members who have fulfilled the membership requirements are allowed to compete at the CJCA Finals Rodeo at the end of the season. 
 

Sponsorship Requirements: Each contestant is required to bring in a minimum of $150 in sponsorships to be eligible to receive year-end awards. Sponsorships for the 2024 Rodeo Season are due by March 1, 2024.  An Online Sponsorship Form and Printable Sponsorship Form are available for members.
