Western Attire:
-
Contestants must wear western attire while competing and in the arena area.
-
Required items: long-sleeve shirt, jeans, western boots, and a cowboy hat or helmet.
-
Hats must remain on until the contestant has completed the run. A 5-second penalty applies if the hat comes off before crossing the arena threshold.

Be on time for your events; missed calls may result in disqualification.
-

-
Follow all posted ground rules and arena directions.
-
The Main Arena has priority over the Goat Arena at all times. Contestants entered in both areas must compete first in the Main Arena when there is a conflict.
Schedule Notes:
-
Friday evening: Saturday’s pole bending runs.
-
Saturday: Sunday’s pole bending runs.
-
Each weekend is considered a Saturday/Sunday rodeo, even if events begin Friday evening.

Know the Rules:
Contestants and parents are encouraged to review the current CJCA Rulebook and this season’s Rulebook Amendments before competing. Familiarity with the rules helps prevent mistakes and keeps the rodeo running smoothly for everyone.
